The pinnacle of Kojis Signs manufacturing history: the 112 ft tall guitar sign at the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi. Designed by Steve Howard - a legendary sign designer who started the Gulf Coast casino renaissance with his revolutionary Casino Magic creation on Hwy 90 in Bay St. Louis - this sign was completed shortly before Hurricane Katrina destroyed the casino but left the sign standing.
Originally designed to be a Gibson Les Paul, the shape and brand was changed to a Peavey model because of Peavey's Mississippi roots.
Steve Howard's design assistant on this job was John Maracich, currently the owner of ExpoSigns in Slidell, LA.
